Measure form for wardrobes (64.47 kB)

Step 1: Measure the width of the back wall

When measuring the width of the back wall, take the measurement at approximately 2000mm (2 metres) up from the floor. Follow these steps:

  1. From one side, measure out to 1000mm (1 metre) and make a small mark.
  2. From the opposite side, measure the distance to the 1000mm mark.
By adding these two measurements together, you’ll get a highly accurate width.

From one side, measure out to 1000mm (1m) and mark.
Measure from the left to the 1000mm mark
From the opposite side, measure to the 1000mm mark.

Step 2: Measure the depth of the opening

Measure both the left and right hand depths. Record the measurements on the form.

Note: Spacemaker shelving is 420mm deep.

Step 3: Measure any side returns (if applicable)

It’s important that we know the measurements of side returns, as this may affect the placement of drawers.

Please provide the inside measurements, as shown in the diagram.
